Day 1: Johannesburg to Sabi Sands Game Reserve
Depart Johannesburg on a flight and air transfer for your safari in Sabi Sand Game Reserve bordering the Kruger National Park. Your guide will be waiting at the airstrip to whisk you off to your classic safari lodge for the start of an unforgettable safari in Sabi Sand Game Reserve. After having some time to unpack and refreshen, afternoon tea and snacks are served. Afterwards, you will be taken on your first game drive where you will embark on a personalised journey to explore the African bush.
In the early evening spot predators that prowl and see leopard and lions emerge to drink water or rest before the night's hunt. Just before sunset, you will disembark for a sundowner allowing you to savour and soak in a dramatic African sunset. The exhilarating afternoon game drive is followed by a boma dinner under the South African stars.
Day 2: Safari in Sabi Sands
Your day starts with an early wake-up call and a morning game drive. Early mornings are an ideal time to watch Africa's wildlife in their natural habitat. Birds and wildlife are out at this time to gather food and drink water. Your experienced ranger will take you through the private reserve in search of lion, rhino, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelopes and many more. Watch the wildlife laze between thorn and Marula trees as they wake up to the rising African sun.
Stop at a scenic spot for tea, coffee and rusks during your morning drive. On return to your classic safari lodge in Sabi Sand Game Reserve, a delicious breakfast is served. After breakfast, you have some leisure time. Relax poolside and watch passing by wildlife or grab a book from the library. As the day meanders to the afternoon you set off on your afternoon game drive, stopping to watch the sunset with sundowner drinks, delicious snacks and memories to last a lifetime.
Day 3: Sabi Sands to Johannesburg
This is the last day of your authentic Kruger safari in Sabi Sand Game Reserve. After a morning game drive and breakfast, you have some time to pack your bags and purchase some curio mementoes. A short safari transfer will take you to the airstrip for your air transfer and scheduled flight back to Johannesburg or Cape Town.
