Look forward to exploring the scenic African bush on foot or in open safari vehicles with highly trained rangers and trackers. Guided game walks offer excellent insight into the finer details of the bush and create opportunities to spot a wide range of bird species.
Game drives are ideal for spotting African wildlife. Trackers sit up at the front of the specialised safari vehicle looking for fresh animal tracks, while rangers drive with amazing skill through ravines and thickets in pursuit of elusive animals.
On your safari holiday in South Africa, spend your afternoons soaking up the sun at your own private plunge pool. After high tea the evening game drive sets off. Enjoy sundowners in the bush and searching for nocturnal game with the aid of a spotlight. Your ranger will return you to the lodge for a delicious dinner served under the star studded sky.
The wellness centre includes yoga and fitness facilities as well as rejuvenating treatments for the complete safari experience. Spend the afternoon at leisure with a relaxing massage or a refreshing dip in the pool. Therapies offered include Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy and Reiki. All therapies are offered in-suite or on your deck.
Children (whose family have booked the lodge exclusively) can enjoy a wide variety of activities designed especially for them. Children under the age of 6 are not able to go on game drives but they will be fully entertained at the Cubs Club.
Activities include bug catching, bird watching, painting, sing songs, stories and African dance. Older children can participate in the Future Ranger Courses at an extra cost. The courses include mammal behaviour, bird identification and plants and their medicinal uses.
