Inyati Game Lodge offers up a good dose of down-to-earth hospitality in an authentic safari setting. Its location along the Sand River is hard to top, especially with the exceptional team of ranger-guides that brings it all to life.
Guided game drives are incredible here in the Sabi Sands, especially as vehicles are allowed to venture off-road. In just a few hours you’ll quickly count all the members of the Big 5, and quite possibly have a leopard sighting too. Since the reserve shares an unfenced border with the Kruger, animals can freely meander into the area. You’ll also have direct access to a wide range of prolific birdlife, as well as not having to compete with the larger safari crowds.
While you’ll relish being in the bush exploring, Inyati is the kind of lodge that always feels welcoming, and you’ll enjoy coming back to freshen up after a guided game drive or a bush walk. The bar area and communal lounge are both great for kicking back with a crisp drink and engaging in some light convo, while the refreshing pool will quickly lure you in during those sultry afternoons.
Meals are served on the open deck which features views of the river frequently visited by a variety of resident animals. When you’re ready to retire to your room after stories and wine flow, the thatched chalets offer everything you could need; soft couches, air-con and king-size beds...yes please!
