Safari Experience at Nkorho Bush Lodge
Enjoy a traditional South African safari with spectacular game drives at dawn and dusk as well as informative guided bush walks. The ultimate in a Digital Photography Course can also be enjoyed.
Bush Walks
Bush walks with your ranger take place either before breakfast in summer or afterwards in winter. Later, you can relax in the swimming pool, enjoy lunch and then perhaps have a siesta on your South African safari.
Game Drives
Nkorho Bush Lodge game drives set off early in the morning, which is the best time to spot African wildlife. You will be woken at least 30 minutes before departure so you can enjoy a cup of coffee and rusks (biscuits) with your ranger before your game drive. Be lucky to spot some of the Big Five animals - Elephant, Rhino, Lion, Buffalo and Leopard. There will also be a break on the way for tea or coffee.
Afternoon / evening drives offer the opportunity to see the movements of nocturnal game. There is a stop at a scenic spot for sundowner drinks and time to marvel at the magical surroundings. On returning to the lodge, you have time to freshen up and then meet at the bar for a pre-dinner drink.
Bush Dining
Dinner is enjoyed around an open fire in a typical Leadwood boma (open-air enclosure). A relaxed atmosphere of sheer contentment and a feeling of unity make this South African safari experience unforgettable.
