Leopard Hills Private Game Reserve traverses over 10 000 hectares in the western sector of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve, which forms part of the greater Kruger National Park. It is approximately 500km due east of Johannesburg.
Leopard Hills Safari Lodge is easy accessible by road from Johannesburg or by air, flying either by private charter directly to the lodge’s airstrip, or on a commercial airline to Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport, where a 2 hour road transfer or a 25 minute flight to Leopard Hills would be required.
From Johannesburg or Pretoria to Leopard Hills by road (approximately 5 hours)
Take the N12, or the N4 highway to Nelspruit and White River, Take the R40 towards Hazyview, turn left at the T-junction towards Hazyview. At the second traffic lights, turn right onto the R536 towards the Paul Kruger Gate.
Approximately 35km along this road, and just after the Saringwa River, look out for signs indicating the Private Game Lodges and signs indicating 'Huntington, Lilydale and Justicia' on the left hand side of the road. Turn left here and follow this gravel road for 9km. Turn right at the 'Private Game Lodges' sign.
After 3km you’ll have to turn left – look out for the 'Private Game Lodges' sign. One kilometre further you’ll find the Newington Gate where you will be required to pay an entrance fee and a vehicle fee. Once through the gate, turn left and follow the signs to the lodge (± 14km gravel road) in Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
