Jaci’s Sabi House is located in one of the most sought-after private game reserves in South Africa - the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
You can fly directly to Jaci’s Sabi House on a daily scheduled flight departing from Johannesburg or take a leisurely drive at your own pace. Jaci’s Sabi House is 20 minutes’ drive from Arathusa Airport and the transfer is included in your stay.
Jaci’s Sabi House is 6.5 hour's drive from Johannesburg and 1.5 hour's drive from Hoedspruit Airport.
Please use these directions to Jaci’s Sabi House and do not follow the GPS directions.
- Depart Johannesburg via the N12 Highway & continue to Witbank which then becomes the N4
- Highway
- Continue straight, through Middelburg & on towards Belfast.
- Switch to the R540 to Dullstroom, continue on through Lydenburg, Origstad & through the
- Strydom Tunnel.
- On approaching Hoedspruit take the R531 to Klaserie, Acornhoek .
- Turn left into Acornhoek and continue straight, passing through the town of Hluvukani. (Please drive
- with caution on this section of the road)
- Drive for a further 13km until you reach a large wooden Sabi Sand signboard alongside the road sign
- for Seville A.
- Turn right, here, and take this main dirt road until you reach a T-Junction with another large
- wooden Sabi Sand sign board.
- Turn left, here, and continue straight on to Gowrie Gate. (Please note that the last section of the
- road is on gravel and guests will have to drive at a reduced speed (allow for extra travel time especially
- if it has been raining)
- Follow the signs to Jaci’s Sabi House, approximately 12 kilometres from Gowrie Gate.
