Day 1: A journey of the heart
Greetings, lovebirds, and welcome to Kruger! A scheduled flight from Johannesburg will take you to an airport close to Kruger, where a private road transfer is waiting to take you to your home away from home for the next 3 nights - a luxury Kruger safari lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
After freshening up and enjoying a light lunch, you head out for your first game drive. Watch big predators hunt through the darkling grass, while the hoots of owls take you further into the night. On your return, enjoy a romantic outdoor dinner at the bush observatory beneath the African night sky.
Fall asleep to the sounds of African wildlife and sweet aromas of night flowers blooming. A celebration of love amidst the beauty of Africa awaits you tomorrow.
Day 2: A Blessed union in the Bush
The big day has arrived! The rising sun smiles on the dearly beloved who have gathered in the African bush to celebrate the joining of two hearts. Conducted by a local minister, your wedding ceremony takes place on the elevated deck overlooking the breathtaking landscape of the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. You exchange your vows beneath the shaded leaves, gently trickling drops of sunlight through onto your faces. Your ‘I do’s’ are met with the rapturous traditional song and dance from the local Shangaan people at the lodge.
Every little touch is created to meet your unique taste and style, while still remaining authentic to Africa. Day 3: A new life, a new dawn

How big a wedding can i have?
There are a total of 21 rooms spread over the two lodges, making the maximum amount of guests that can attend your wedding safari 42. You have the option of either hiring out both safari lodges or each one separately. The Rock Lodge accommodates up to 20 people, while the Safari Lodge 22.The Formalities
It is easy to get married in South Africa as a non-resident. There are however a few things that you need to know to further assist you with your planning. We will be able to help you with every stage of this process.Both religious and secular ceremonies can be arranged. The regular ministers perform Christian or secular ceremonies for opposite and same-sex couples, but please do let us know what you need and we will look into it for you.
A minister will process all the legal documents in preparation for the ceremony and prepare your marriage certificate. Following the ceremony, you will receive an abridged Marriage Certificate.
The minister must then apply for a full marriage certificate, which takes approximately two months to be processed by South Africa’s Department of Home Affairs. As soon as this is completed it will be mailed to your address. These services are all included in the wedding package price.
