Day 1: Johannesburg to Sabi Sands Game Reserve
Depart from Johannesburg on a flight to the prestigious Sabi Sands Game Reserve that shares a border with the Kruger National Park. You will be met at the airstrip by your ranger and introduced to the area.
Once you are settled into your suite you can take a dip in your refreshing plunge pool and feel all stresses and strains just melting away in the deep peace of this exclusive destination. This is your personal time to indulge in the colonial-style comfort and contemplate two nights and three days of bliss.
Day 2: Safari Lodge in Sabi Sands
You can opt for a lazy lie in or get up early for a morning game drive with your ranger and tracker team in search of big game. On the way, you can enjoy tasty refreshments at a scenic spot. Return to a sumptuous breakfast spread and the tranquillity of your suite at the luxury lodge. The rest of the day is yours to do just as you please.
In-between game drives you can also set off on an escorted nature walk, exploring the green riverbank and crossing the quirky suspension bridge. Your ranger will explain the finer, intricate details of the bush and its many wonders en-route. The evening game drive includes sundowners and tracking nocturnal animals with the aid of a spotlight.
Day 3: Sabi Sands to Johannesburg
This is the last day of your luxury South African safari in Sabi Sand Game Reserve. Embark on one last morning game drive before heading to breakfast. Why not pamper yourself before check-out with a relaxing spa treatment in the privacy of your own suite.
Feel revived and ready for the next part of your South African journey. A short safari road transfer takes you to the bush airstrip for your onward flight.
