Search for African wildlife on exciting morning and afternoon game drives. Each drive stops at a scenic spot for refreshments and delicious snacks. The evening drive takes in the sunset and afterwards your ranger will look for nocturnal game with the aid of a spotlight.
Birding is good in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve. On nature walks, you guide will point out different species and show you the finer details of the bush. These aspects are often not seen during big game drives on a safari holiday in South Africa. Some of the bird species found in the area include Giant Eagle Owl, Secretary Bird, African Fish Eagle and Dark Chanting Goshawk.
The wellness centre at the camp incorporates yoga and fitness facilities as well as rejuvenating treatments for the complete safari experience. Spend the afternoon at leisure with a soothing massage or a refreshing dip in the pool. Therapies offered at Londolozi Life include Swedish Massage, Aromatherapy and Reiki. All therapies are also offered in-suite or on your deck.
Children can join the Cub Club and enjoy activities like bug hunting, while older children can learn to track animals while on the Future Rangers course. Children under the age of 6 are not able to go on game drives but they will be fully entertained at the camps Cubs Club. Activities include bug catching, sing songs, bird watching and African dance.
Children between 6 and 16 years can join the Bush schools and participate in Future Ranger Courses. Some of the courses include mammal behaviour, plants and their medicinal uses and bird identification.
