Safari Review - Nottens Bush Camp, Sabi Sand Game Reserve
Sabi Sand Game Reserve
A cool, relaxed atmosphere prevails at Notten's Bush Camp in the renowned Sabi Sand Game Reserve in Mpumalanga. The 65000-hectare reserve is one of the most well-known reserves in South Africa.A Tranquil Retreat
This exclusive safari lodge is owned and run by the Notten family. It all began in 1963, when the family bought a portion of the Sabi Sand Reserve to use as a tranquil retreat for family members and friends.
It was not until 1986 that paying guests were invited to share their hideaway.
Elegant Design
Now in the hands of third-generation Nottens, Notten's Bush Camp is the epitome of luxury and elegance. African textures are used throughout the lodge to striking effect.
Wood and wicker, clay and cotton, reed and stone are stylishly integrated in each private suite.
An Ambiance of Peace and Tranquility
The purposeful absence of electricity contributes to an ambience of peace and tranquillity at this lodge in Sabi Sand Game Reserve.
Candles and lanterns create a magical mood, which is exactly the impression the Notten family would like you to take away with you.
Exclusivity
At Notten's Bush Camp, only a few people at a time get to enjoy the boundless hospitality offered by the Notten's family, which is why those who truly value exclusivity return time and again to this special part of Africa.
