Kirkman's Kamps lodge in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve was named in honour of W. Harry Kirkman, one of South Africa's foremost conservationists. Today this area where you will find your safari lodge in the Sabi Sands Game Reserve, is known to have the greatest diversification of animal species on the African continent.
Over 200 different species occur in abundance whilst the ever changing birdlife provides even the most experienced ornithologist with rare finds. The Sabi Sands Game Reserve is the Largest privately owned game reserve in South Africa located on one of the most elevated sites overlooking the Sand River.
Kirkman's Kamp is situated in the eastern part of South Africa in the province of Mpumalanga and is part of a conservation gene pool that covers 5.5 million hectares of land in the heart of the South African Lowveld.
Child Policy: Age restriction in the interests of personal safety advise that no children under 12 years of age are allowed at Kirkman's Kamp. There are no family rooms available at this lodge. Children who have reached their 12th birthday are considered adults and therefore pay the adult tariff.
