Exeter River Lodge is tucked away on the banks of the Sand River in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve. This lodge in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve boasts 8 luxurious suites each fitted with a private veranda and plunge pool. See African wildlife quench their thirst from the comfort of your own deck.
The Sabi Sand Game Reserve shares an unfenced border with the Kruger National Park, allowing African wildlife to move freely between the two parks. The Sabi Sand is also home to over 300 different bird species, including the Saddle-billed stork and Scarlet-chested Sunbird.
Track African wildlife on an exciting game drive. Game drives are offered early morning and late afternoon / evening. Some of the wildlife you might see include Lion, Elephant, Rhino, Leopard and Buffalo (namely the Big Five). Some of the nocturnal animals include African Civet and Large-spotted Genet.
Explore the African bush on foot with a guided bush walk. Cool off in the warm afternoon in your private plunge pool. Delicious Pan African inspired cuisine is served in the open air boma (outdoor enclosure). Alternatively, enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner in the African bush.
Child policy:
Children are welcome at Exeter River Lodge. Unfortunately triple rooms are not available. Regretfully, children aged 5 years and younger can't participate in game drives. Babysitters are available at an additional cost. Children between the ages of 6 years and 11 years can only participate in game drives at the manager's discretion.
